14 years after the start of the link between the two entities, the relationship means that Eurochile will continue for 5 more years connecting Chilean SMEs with Europe.
During the month of July, the collaboration between the Eurochile Business Foundation and the European Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) was made official. The participation was confirmed until 2027, which will allow continuing to support companies in their internationalization processes.
The Enterprise Europe Network is the largest support network for SMEs, and it is known by providing its clients with a personalized service that translates into the delivery of support, connection and assistance in their internationalization processes.
Eurochile has been part of the Enterprise Europe Network since 2008, so with its confirmation of the collaboration until 2027, it means an almost 20 years membership of the largest global network of SMEs worldwide.
It should be remembered that the existing relationship between Eurochile and the European network has resulted in the systematic empowerment of Chilean SMEs seeking to break into the old continent. This process translates into connection with experiences, trends, similar companies, transfer of technologies and good practices, matchmaking events, contacts for future projects, and collaboration and/or distribution agreements in Europe or vice versa.
The Director of International Networks of the Eurochile Business Foundation, Manuela Caruz, valued the work and collaboration. “For Eurochile, it is an honor to continue our partnership with Enterprise Europe Network for another 5 years, since with the joint work we have carried out in recent years we have managed to significantly strengthen trade relations between Chilean SMEs and Europe,” said Caruz.
Likewise, Caruz analyzed the importance for Eurochile of its link with the Enterprise Europe Network. “This network allows Eurochile to carry out its mission of promoting and consolidating economic, commercial and technological links between Chilean SMEs and institutions and counterparts from European countries, both public and private, being a facilitator of the process of internationalization of SMEs”.
Through the EEN, Eurochile has carried out different matchmaking events, connecting Chilean SMEs with their European counterparts. Last year, it co-organized 27 B2Bs, benefiting 378 Chilean companies. This year and because of the continuous work with the European network, the foundation can continue to support Chilean companies in their internationalization processes through their participation in bilateral meetings.
“This year, we are collaborating in various matchmaking events from different sectors that are open for Chilean companies to participate. We invite the companies to visit our website for more information”, concluded the director of International Networks.
