The Eurecat Technology Center of Catalonia, as leader, and the Eurochile Business Foundation, in its role as partner, are executing the project “Articulation and development of sustainable business models led by MSMEs for the construction sector”. This initiative lasts 30 months and aims to benefit 300 MSMEs and 10 Business Organizations in the Metropolitan Region and Los Lagos Region.
The program is aimed at MSMEs that provide products or services in the construction sector, as well as architecture, design and engineering MSMEs and their respective Business Organizations. The objective is to strengthen the link, especially those that offer sustainable products or seek to implement them, for this, various activities will be carried out to promote, train and implement sustainable and circular economy practices, taking as inspiration successful European experiences.
Finally, the participating MSMEs will obtain benefits such as training in the circular economy applied to construction, increasing the connection between service providers and sustainable products, training in sustainable certification mechanisms, creating and implementing action plans to solve identified problems and learning about successful experiences of circular economy in Europe, among others.
