Large turnout at the first Eurochile Business Meeting
The “Business Meeting: Boosting your business with European networks”, organised by the Eurochile Business Foundation, brought together various companies from the national entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as key players from the public and private sector. The event offered talks, panels and networking spaces, marking a day full of learning and strategic alliances.
On 28 November, the Eurochile Business Foundation held the first “Business Meeting: Power your company with European networks”, in the framework of the Eurochile Business Circle. This event brought together more than 30 companies from the public and private sector, and was attended by more than 100 participants, in a day focused on learning, collaboration and exploration of new business opportunities.
The event included various activities and spaces where companies could present their products and services, generating opportunities for connection and visibility. In addition, talks led by Corfo and Start-Up Chile were held, along with panel discussions that brought together members of the Eurochile Business Circle.
In this context, attendees learned first-hand about the experiences and benefits offered by the Business Circle, highlighting how it has contributed to business development by linking with companies in Europe. In addition, a panel of communication experts analysed the strategic role of communication in the growth and projection of SMEs.
In addition, Commercial Attachés from various European Union countries were present, who shared information on the opportunities and challenges of entering the European market.
Felipe Mujica, executive director of the Eurochile Business Foundation, said: “Today we have had a series of activities with the participation of more than 33 stands of SMEs and European institutions in this meeting. We have observed a great interest from the companies that accompany us, and we have been able to participate in various talks focused mainly on issues of circular economy, internationalisation and greenwashing. We appreciate the interest of the attendees and we hope to continue developing events of this magnitude“.
Valentina Ulloa from the recycling area of Bioprocess Chile, a member company of the Business Circle, commented: “At Eurochile we have managed to establish several alliances and reach niches we were unaware of, which has allowed us to open doors both locally and internationally. We want to highlight this excellent instance, as well as the support and interest provided by the Business Circle to its members“.
The Eurochile Business Circle has established itself as a platform that provides participating companies with a range of valuable activities. It offers access to a network of national and European contacts, facilitating strategic meetings and providing updated information on sector trends. It also promotes networking and new business opportunities through business rounds and business missions, supporting sustainability and innovation. Instances such as the Business Meeting reinforce its commitment to boosting business, integrating markets and strengthening relations between Chilean and European companies.
The chef Carlo Van Mühlenbrock also participated, who had a space in which he presented his various experiences that led him to opt for a more sustainable cuisine, which resulted in the development of the “Carlo Cocina Sustentable” programme. During his intervention, he highlighted: “Today I see a great variety of stands and I love that entrepreneurs can have a space where they can generate networks and contacts to share experiences. I have had the opportunity to participate in Eurochile initiatives, where I was able to travel and learn about experiences in other parts of the world, particularly in Europe“.
This event was consolidated as a key instance to empower SMEs in the national ecosystem, providing them with tools and knowledge through the talks and panels held. It also allowed participants to share experiences, generate alliances, establish contacts and connect with the European market. The event reaffirms the role of the Eurochile Business Circle as a platform that gives visibility to Chilean companies, with the aim of enhancing their development.
