Ecomondo 2024 Company Mission: Eurochile Business Foundation launches one of the leading European fairs in circular economy
With the participation of the representative of the Ecomondo 2024 International Fair, the Eurochile Foundation officially launched the fair in Chile, inviting companies in the sustainability and circular economy sector to join the Company Mission organized by Eurochile to Ecomondo, Italy.
From Italy, Andrea Batazzi, general manager of Multirep Services and representative for Latam Ecomondo, came exclusively to Chile to launch the international green and circular economy fair, Ecomondo 2024, which will take place in Rimini from November 5 to 8 of this year. This annual event attracts companies, professionals and experts from various industries committed to sustainability, waste management, energy efficiency, resource recovery and technological innovation for more sustainable development.
The launch took place in the premises of the Eurochile Business Foundation, bringing together more than 30 participants, including companies, organizations and public entities. During the event, the Ecomondo representative was the main speaker, highlighting the details and benefits of the participation of Chilean companies in this international fair. In addition, Eurochile announced the organization of a Company Mission to encourage the participation of Chilean companies in this important international event.
During the day, authorities from public organizations and companies that participated in previous missions to Ecomondo carried out in 2022 and 2023, spoke about their experience such as José Miguel Zúñiga from Kalewün, David Melo from Megaelectric, Juan Carlos Bello from Bellbast and Margarita Sepúlveda from ITE. Fernando Hernández and Cristian Vargas, regional councilors of the Regional Government of Los Lagos, participated on behalf of the public sector.
The speakers highlighted that participation in the Fair is a crucial instance to expand commercial opportunities, explore new technologies and generat new relationships with their European counterparts. In this sense, attendees were actively encouraged to participate to create international synergies and enhance their business.

The final objective of the activity was to make the entities present aware of the opportunities generated by attending such a relevant fair in terms of sustainability, making it visible as an instance that brings together business leaders, experts in the field, government representatives and international organizations. In this environment, innovative solutions are presented and discussed in critical areas such as waste management, energy efficiency, renewable energy, circular economy and environmental conservation.
Finally, the planning of the Eurochile Company Mission and the procedure for interested companies to participate in the 2024 edition of Ecomondo were presented. This includes the opportunity to visit the various stands at the fair, participate in technical visits and attend various seminars and workshops.
